AIR FLY (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a diamond identification and inspection application developed by Mindron. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the AIR FLY mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Application Purpose
AIR FLY is designed to:
- Scan and identify diamonds using a camera
- Analyze captured diamond images
- Connect to a dedicated diamond identification machine
- Send operational and control commands to the machine via Bluetooth or nearby device communication
The App is intended for professional and industrial use.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
The App operates using a pre-created account system. Users are not required to manually enter personal information such as name, phone number, or address.
2.2 Camera and Scan Data
The App accesses the device camera to:
- Capture images of diamonds
- Perform scanning and identification operations
The following data may be generated:
- Diamond images
- Scan results and identification records
Images and scan records are stored only based on user choice. If the user chooses not to save data, it may be processed temporarily and then discarded.
2.3 Storage / Media Access
The App may access device storage to:
- Save captured diamond images
- Load previously saved scan records
Storage access is used strictly for app functionality.
2.4 Location Information
The App may request location access (precise or approximate) as required by the Android operating system to support Bluetooth scanning and connectivity.
Location data:
- Is optional
- Is not used for tracking
- Is not used for advertising
2.5 Bluetooth and Nearby Device Data
The App uses Bluetooth and nearby device permissions to:
- Connect to the diamond identification machine
- Send commands to control machine operations
- Receive scan status and responses from the machine
Bluetooth communication is used only for machine operation and control.
2.6 Device and Diagnostic Information
We may collect non-personal technical data such as:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- App version
- Crash logs and diagnostic information
This data is used only to improve app stability and performance.
3. How We Use Information
Collected information is used to:
- Identify and analyze diamonds
- Operate and control the connected machine
- Display scan results to the user
- Store images and scan records based on user choice
- Monitor crashes and fix technical issues
- Improve app performance and reliability
4. Data Storage and Retention
- Images and scan records may be stored locally on the device or on secure servers, depending on user choice
- Stored data is retained only as long as required for operational or user-requested purposes
- Users maintain control over whether data is saved or retained
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Data may be shared only:
- With service providers required for app operation (such as crash reporting services)
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect the safety, rights, or property of users or the developer
6. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Firebase Crashlytics – used for crash reporting and application diagnostics
No advertising or marketing SDKs are used.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect collected data. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Children's Privacy
AIR FLY is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe that a child has provided data through the App, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
9. User Controls
Users can:
- Grant or revoke app permissions (camera, storage, location, Bluetooth) through device settings
- Choose whether to save or discard images and scan records
- Disconnect from the machine at any time
- Uninstall the App to stop further data collection
